ICL International B.V.’s agents in Vietnam are: Bac Ky Logistics Co, based in Hanoi. Bac Ky was setup in 2005 as an investment company which turned its focus to almost 100% logistics during the following years. It established Tien Son ICD as from 2009 and developed this logistics Centre as one of the largest in the region to approximately 42.000 sqm in 2013. At the same time it received the ‘’G’’ license of direct trucking from Vietnam to Nanning and Shenzhen in China.
In 2016 Bac Ky expects to expands its area by another 15 hectares and will be the biggest and most modern logistics center in the North of Vietnam with supporting operations in Haiphong, Lang Son (Border) and Shenzhen in China. The expansion was partly made possible by an equity investment from US based Bravia Capital into Bac Ky.
As an emerging market the country of Vietnam’s metal consumption is growing strongly as well. Metals handing and storage, however, is a specialism as well as maintaining the focus in these markets, a reason for Bac Ky and ICL International to join forces. ICL International therefor is able to offer you metals’ storage facilities based on its year long experience in these markets.
